Topics

 

  • Academics/Education – MEI provides students with information on the importance of matriculating while attending K-12 programs, chart a path for post-secondary education or to enroll in a trade program to obtain the credentials to be ready for the workforce.
  • Career Development –  MEI helps its participants develop their career management skills. Males play an important role in the workforce. It is essential for males to be able to produce and be effective to provide for themselves and their families.
  • Entrepreneurship – MEI wants to help men and boys explore their Entrepreneurial ventures. Participants will learn how Entrepreneurs create new businesses, create social change and can add to the national income.
  • Fatherhood – MEI focuses on assisting men on how to be good fathers, making family time a priority, becoming a good communicator, providing love and commendation and the importance of providing love and respect for your wife or mother of your child or children.
  • Financial Literacy – MEI guides men and boys on the importance of budgeting and money management, college finances, financial aid, student loans, credit recovery, identity theft and financial safety.
  • Health – MEI believes in educating men and boys of the importance of knowing their family health history. Males will engage in interactive forums on improving their health and how vital it is to the voluntary sector.
  • Leadership/Management – MEI will prepare participants on learning the difference between leaders and managers and how successful entrepreneurs must strive to develop the characteristics of both.
  • Positive Relationships – MEI understands the importance of helping boys develop positive relationships within the school house, while working with their teachers and peers. It is equally important that men develop constructive working relationships with those in their community as well as their workplace. The program is equipped to encourage participants to embark on supportive relationships that will help them grow successfully.
