Community Service – MEI believes that engaging in community service provides our participants with the opportunity to become active members of their community. This helps men and boys have a positive impact on society at large. Community service or volunteerism enables our participants to acquire life skills and knowledge, as well as provide a service to those who need it most.
Participating in an MEI community service initiative makes a difference to the organization and people being served. Participating in community service activities helps to enhance student and adult resumes. By choosing MEI, participants will obtain work-related skills, build good references for employers, meet student organization requirements, provides a forum to network, and develop civic and social responsibility skills to become more aware of what their community needs.
